The Film:
A satirical fable where the punishment fits the crime and crime is greatly rewarded. Tired of his do-gooder wife continuously donating his wages to charity, Malcolm Barrow cooks up a most dastardly solution to his problems. By trading sanity for cunning, Malcolm learns to protect the things he’s worked for and nobody goes home hungry.

The Film Makers:
Hobbes Hedley and Hedley Harlan are a directing team on a life long search for a conscience and a sense of morality. Together, they form Hedley Productions with offices in New York and Los Angeles. Hedley focuses on projects with sharp teeth in the writing and missing ones in the special effects.

Late Lunch is a project very close to their hearts as it is their version of a children’s fable.
